Studio Photography
(or posed & wrapped photography)
is more traditional for newborn photography. Backdrops, props, and studio lighting are used. Most of these photos are taken while baby is sleeping. There are options to add family and sibling photos to this session. My in-home studio in located in Salem Lakes, WI (Kenosha County). These photos are best captured in the first two weeks after birth, but I accept babies of all ages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When is the best time to book my session?
It's never too early to book. I only offer so many newborn sessions per month to allow flexibility for babies who arrive early or late, however, because of this, I do sometimes have last minute availability for clients. Reach out at any point!
Q: When is the best age for baby's photos?
Within the first few weeks is ideal for studio sessions.
Q: How do I book when I don't know when baby will arrive?
We tentatively put you on my schedule one week after your due date, but we adjust it after birth if needed.
Q: Where is your in-home studio located?
Salem Lakes, WI. I'm in west Kenosha County & just north of Antioch, IL.
Q: Do I have to bring anything?
Just your precious little guy or gal! I provide all the props, wraps, & outfits.
Q: Have you taken newborn safety courses?
Yes! I take newborn safety very seriously in my studio. I've studied safe posing, only use props made specifically for newborn photography, & make sure everything is properly sanitized between clients.

Q: How do we prepare for a newborn photoshoot?
I will send you a preparation guide before the session. Beyond that, the baby is the boss & we go with the flow.
